Tube ice machine

Tube ice is the cylindrical type of ice, length is around 28mm-35mm. There are the following standard diameters of 22mm, 29mm, 25mm in most tube ice applications. Size of inner hole can be controlled by the ice making time setting.

The available heat transfer areas in tube ice are outer surface and inner hole, totally 696 square metres in every ton of tube ice. It is a very suitable media for cooling capacity storing. Slow melting rate, enormous refrigerating capacity, and safe consuming hygiene make it the most popular type of ice in consuming ice distribution.

Applications: Cooling products, Freeze food, Drinks mixing, Crushed ice, Fish fresh cooling, Snow Making, Concrete cooling, General consume ice distribution.

Tube ice making

Water is distributed and sprayed from sprinkler on top of evaporator drum, flow down by gravity through the inner surface of seamless stainless steel conduction tubes whereas the inner space among conduction tubes is the circulation of chilled refrigerant. Thus, water starts transferring heat to the refrigerant through conduction tubes, along with the temperature drop, finally is frozen into ice tubes.

When ice tubes are made, PLC sends signal to release hot refrigerant gas back to the evaporator, rapid melting is formed between the conduction tubes and ice tubes. Within the controlled defrost time, ice tubes start free falling then cut by the rotating ice cutter at the bottom. Tube ice of desired length range is pushed out through the ice outlet. New ice making cycle cuts back in for continuous tube ice production.

Three Dimensional Evaporation

In comparison with the conventional ice making method (flake ice, cube ice, plate ice, block ice), instead of freeze water on the two dimensional flat surface, tube ice is made in the Three Dimensional Evaporator. Almost the entire space of drum evaporator is utilized, it is therefore, the tube ice machine has got the largest capacity and efficiency.
